An interesting green structure shaped like the front side of a huge tanker ship, but with windows inset into the hull. This is the Roma Mitchell Commonwealth Law Courts Building on Angas Street, right on the edge of Victoria Square in Adelaide. I think it looks like a Cylon from Battlestar Gallactica.
Taken on a poodlewalk with thoughtfactory aka Gary Sauer-Thompson and his poodle Ari.
CN 5416 is cruising through the fields just east of Cylon, WI. Two gondola cars don't provide much in the way of resistance against the drawbar of the venerable SD60. Temperatures were in the teens but the sun has wiped out much of the fresh snow.

BNSF 8612 switches the west leg of the elevator track at Cylon spotting corn empties. Of all the possible power I expected to catch on the local this was pretty far down the list. It didn't last long on this job so I was glad to see it. January 23, 2006.
2x-scale brickhead. the scanner eye is a stack of five LEGO LED light bricks, which can be activated in sequence by rotating the red stem on the side of the head. see album for a photo of the back, which shows the mechanism better.

The Brothers Brick have written a great blog about my Cylon Raider. This is my 5th time on their site and it's always a major buzz to be spotted by them. Another one for my Media Scrapbook Flickr album.
You can find the article here: www.brothers-brick.com/2021/08/26/the-mk-ii-cylon-raider-...
This photo is another one inspired by the spectacular sci fi series Battlestar Galactica. The character of the Hybrid specifically inspired this shot. Many thanks to Aly Darling for her role in helping bring my vision to life! It's also worth noting that I did NOT add in extra hair for her; that is just how fantastic her real hair actually is :)
I have started a campaign to raise funds for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome research! There is a desperate need for more answers about the disease. From now until August 31s, 50% of all profits from print sales and my online self-discovery-through-photography course Introspective will be donated to the CFIDS; an organization actively doing research into CFS. You can also donate directly to the CFIDS, of course. Please help spread the word about this; the more people this reaches, the better!
The Colonial Viper could not stay alone in the interstellar space.
So here is the Cylon Raider UCS, scaled to fit the Colonial Viper.
The model is made of 3253 genuine LEGO parts, for a total length of 66,5cm (83,1 studs) and a width of 45,0cm (56,3studs).
Custom lighting provided by Brickstuff (www.brickstuff.com/) and UCS sticker by Ultimate Collector Stickers (www.ultimatecollectorstickers.co.uk/).
Instructions are available starting Feb. 2nd 2018 (326 pages pdf, with fully detailed step-by-step instructions).

Hot on the heels of the 2004 Battlestar Galactica TV series, here is my minifig scale Cylon Raider. Originally suggested to me by Brickvault, it took me about 3 weeks to design. It is the strongest (VERY swooshable) model I have ever created and is very accurate to the shape and proportions of the Mk II Raider.
The ship is 32.5cm long and 20cm wide and is made of 656 pieces (including my signature angled stand). It is also very accurately scaled to the Colonial Viper created by Flying Waffle which you can find on Brickvault's webstore.
Instructions are available from my rebrickable page at: bit.ly/385W5Ls
BSG cylons - certainly not the best action figure ever made. 4 POA, but this figure only looks good in this pose.
Most of you know me for my LEGO creations and my involvement in the League of LEGO Heroes group.
However, I have to admit that I have a problem. I... like to... collect... THINGS! Toys of ALL kinds!
Here are some of the robots in my collection.
In this picture you will see a Crow T. Robot, Tom Servo, and Classic Voltron Funko POP! statues. Megman, Robby Robot, and Cylon Funko Mystery Mini Figurines. A whole slew of Bandai Gundam Converge figurines (I know they are technically mobile suits, and not robots... but... come on... they are cool "robot" toys!) There is also a Bandai Super Megaman blind box toy. A Kre-o Optimus Prime. An MCU designed Disney Infinity Ultron and a classic Minimates comics-styled Ultron. Finally in the back are the Marvel Legends 6 inch scale Vision figures. The classic Vision figure that was just released as part of the throwback line as well as the MCU Vision that came packaged with a MCU Scarlet Witch action figure.
Comments, conversation, and quips welcomed.
Thanks!
